Tell us about your work experience and background?
"I come from a big city called Bangalore in southern India. There I studied and took my bachelor's degree in 2012 in mechanical engineering and started my first job as an intern at the quality department at Toyota Kirloskar Motors. I was responsible for the quality of parts manufactured by steel and rubber suppliers.
After 1,5 years, I started on Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India. At Honda, I had a similar role, except that I handled suppliers who manufactured plastic parts instead. After two years I changed position, became a product designer at the design department and created plastic parts for new motorcycles. It was an incredible job because it challenged me every day and I learned a lot.
In 2018, I went to Sweden to study my master's degree in mechanical engineering at Linköping University. Now three years later I’m employed by, in my opinion, one of Sweden's best companies Axelent.”
What main tasks will be yours at Axelent and what does a typical day look like for you?
“Since I’ve studied design- and product development, my job will be in that area. I have started with small tasks and most of my time right now is about getting to know our products better”.
What are your best qualities and how will you complement the existing R&D team?
“I’m a fast learner and flexible. For six years I have worked in different business fields and have gained good experience and knowledge. My goal is to make our various product ranges and individual products even more efficient and user-friendly.”
How did you get in touch with Axelent as a brand/company for the first time?
"It was through LinkedIn in 2021".
You have just started your journey on Axelent but what is your first impressions so far?
“It has been fantastic so far! I think I have the best colleagues who are very helpful. I'm still learning Swedish and because of me they slow down their speaking speed so that I can understand better”.
